Superteam

Some updated designs of superheroes I made when I was a kid. From left: Throttle (kinetic energy manipulation), Mime (able to control light photons), Monsoon (mastery of water molecules), Trounce (density control), and Foresight (able to see all probabilities in the immediate future and 'choose' an outcome).

The Girl in the Tower

Book 2 of Katherine Arden's Winternight Trilogy. A worthy successor.

Beartown

By Fredrik Backman, who is fast becoming my new favorite author. I read A Man Called Ove prior to this, and it's amazing how he can go from tragically funny to heartbreakingly sombre. Not many authors can achieve two separate voice styles in their works.

Witching Hour

A personal project from way back in college. A carnival where its performers unwittingly usher human souls down to Hell.

From left: Sebastienne (Beast Tamer), Alexei and Viktor (Tightrope), Ms. Goodachre (Junior Consultant employed by the Devil), Archibald Wyche (Ringmaster), Hanzo (Escapist), Teagan (Contortionist), Martell (Sword Swallower / Main Character).

Artemis

Characters from Artemis by Andy Weir. Enjoyable and held my attention throughout. Never read the Martian so won't be able to compare.

Who Censored Roger Rabbit

Worth a read as it's very different from the film, yet just as enjoyable.
